Harry Potter star leaves Phil and Holly in tears after breaking wind on live TV
Harry Potter star Miriam Margolyes left Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby in tears of laughter and horrified after she broke wind on This Morning.
Miriam, whose has a Scottish father, was on the show to act as an agony aunt when the unfortunate but extremely natural incident occurred following a commercial break.
As the cameras were switched on after the ad break Holly, 40, and Phil couldn’t stop giggling like teenagers.
As Miriam, 80, tried to look deadpan at the camera, and Holly cried: ‘Stop it. I can’t. I can’t,’ it was soon revealed by Phil that she’s been giving them some not so silent but deadly noises.
Phil admitted: “Professionally I should pull myself together but Miriam has just done the most enormous fart. On purpose, she didn’t even try to keep it in. She actually lifted up and said ‘That’s better’.

He acted out the moment and it was something the Scots born actress later referenced as she talked to a viewer about getting embarrassed.
She told them: “I definitely feel embarrassment. Mostly at myself. When I said something rude or just now when I farted, momentarily I am embarrassed.
“When you are embarrassed you’re at your most open and charming. Don’t fight it.”
As a nervous Phil suggested to Miriam at the start of her slot that Ofcom would be standing by for complaints, Miriam said she would endeavour to give blunt and honest advice the viewers who called in and would even discuss sex.
At one point she suggested people looking to get into dating should wait, jokingly adding: “Unlike you, Phil.”
As a nervous Phil laughed: “I don’t know what that means?!”, Holly also chipped in: “What do you know that I don’t?”

Phil echoed Holly’s sentiments and Miriam said she was just making an assumption.
After one viewer said they were struggling to deal with their husband due to him lazing around on Sundays Miriam said the viewer should get a divorce.
She said: “Leave him! I wouldn’t waste two seconds on a man like that. Chuck him out.”
During her brutal Q&A Miriam said she had a thin skin adding: “Being thinned skinned is a good thing. To be vulnerable is a wonderful quality. Guard it. Make it your own.”
