Rod Stewart wows fans with fresh faced photo from younger days
Music legend Sir Rod Stewart shared a rare photo of himself from his younger days on Instagram.
The 76-year-old’s fans rushed to the comments to compliment his looks, both then and now.
The throwback photo features a close up of the young singer as he narrows his eyes and pouts. It was taken 1964 when Rod would have been 19 years old.
Many of his fans were quick to comment.
One user wrote: “Handsome then and handsome now! Fun to look back through pictures!”
“Oh my gosh. Now that’s a keeper Sir Rod,” another wrote with a heart emoji.
Rob’s daughter Ruby left a comment on the picture which used the hashtag #modmondays.
She is an American fashion model and singer, who Rod shares with ex Kelly Emberg, 62.
Other followers felt the need to point out the singer’s noticeable pout.
“What a nice mouth,” one user penned with flame and heart emojis.
One user was quick to point out the family resemblance between Rod and his sons, commenting: “Your boys look like you x.”
The Grammy-winning musician is father to eight children: Sarah, Kimberly, Sean, Ruby, Renée, Liam, Alastair and Aiden.
Rod welcomed his first child, Sarah, with ex Susannah Boffey in 1963 in an affair he had when he was just 18, which was immortalised in the hit song Maggie May.

The couple ultimately decided to put their daughter up for adoption and it was only decades later that the star would reconnect with his eldest child, now 57.
Rod went on to marry Alana Stewart in 1979 and the couple welcomed daughter Kimberly, 42, and Sean, 41.
Following his divorce from Alana in 1984, The Handbags and Gladrags singer then remarried Kelly Emberg, who gave birth to Ruby, 34, in 1987.
Rod would then remarry with Rachel Hunter in 1990, who gave him daughter Renee, 29, and son Liam, 27.
His final romantic chapter began with model Penny Lancaster, who gave birth to 16-year-old Alistair in 2005, and later to youngest son Aiden,10, in 2011.
