The Chase star Mark ‘The Beast ‘ Labbett has been snapped arriving in Glasgow for pub quiz.

The Beast was spotted in Central Station this afternoon as he is hosting a pub quiz in Port Glasgow this evening.

But before he could make it out of the station, the British Transport Police stopped him for a quick snap and posted it on Instagram.

On their account, they wrote: “Thanks to @itvchase star Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett for the photo in #Glasgow today PC Sefton & PC Jehamneh are on their way to the framing shop & for the record, Mark – we’d always pick the highest offer… #COP26 | #GlasgowCentral.”

And over on his own Instagram, The Beast updated his 24,000 followers.

He said: “Hi there this is Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett, On a tour of Scotland. Aberdeen last night and now I’m at the lovely Port Glasgow where I’m about to do a pub quiz before I head back to Birmingham tomorrow.”

And fans were quick to comment on the post.

One said: “You’re looking so good mark.”

Another added: “Quality mark love you.”

While one wrote: “Good to see you. But you look tired.”

Earlier this year, the 56-year-old stunned his fans by showing off his 10 stone weight loss.

In the post, he smiled as he donned a fitted suit.

In the picture, that the Chaser shared with his 147,000 Twitter followers, Mark looked incredible as he showed his trim figure.

Captioning the snap, Mark wrote: “The next member of the Double O section?”

The 6ft6 star has undergone a dramatic transformation in recent months and completely revamped his diet and exercise habits.

Mark, who tipped the scales at 29 stone when he was his heaviest, recently weighed in at 19 stone.

Speaking previously about his transformation in March, Mark said: “This is the lightest I’ve been in 25 years. I’m now under 20 stone, and I am really feeling the difference, as well as seeing it.

The television star added: “My knees really feel the difference. I will never be athletic again but I just move so much better for not carrying that extra weight.”

Mark went on to reveal that he had cut down to two meals a day as well as lessening his sugar intake.

Mark – who was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 2016 – also revealed he faced a wake-up call when he battled Covid-19 last year.

He has since completely revamped his lifestyle and even hinted that he was ready to start dating again after splitting from his wife.
